This position is located in the District Department of Transportation, (DDOT), Operations Administration (OA), Traffic Operations Division, School Crossing Guards Branch. The primary responsibility of a Safety Technician is to safely control the flow of traffic from the curb or by entering the intersection to assist children, seniors, bicycles, and cars.  This is a (Part-Time) Permanent Career Service Appointment.
